4WD TASMANIA is an organisation representing 4WD recreational vehicle clubs and their members. Our membership consists of most of the the known 4WD Clubs in Tasmania. 4WD TASMANIA was formerly known the Tasmanian Recreational Vehicles Association.

4WD TASMANIA promotes the responsible use of public and private lands by educational programs and has issued several brochures directed at protecting the areas and tracks used by recreational vehicle owners. Efforts are also directed at encouraging the individual user to join an affiliated club.

Why join a four wheel drive club? Well there are many reasons to join a 4WD Tasmania- affiliated four wheel drive club, here is just a few:

  • Enjoying the Tasmanian environment with like-minded people.
  • Camping and touring.
  • Social events.
  • Access to 4WD-specific insurance.
  • Public liability insurance.
  • Fun with family and friends.
  • A voice representing your interests to Government and keeping tracks open.
So get behind the locals and help support 4WD Tasmania by joining your local club.
